PLEASE CONTACT NYSDEC, GOVERNOR CUOMO, YOUR SENATOR, YOUR ASSEMBLYMAN AND YOUR TOWN SUPERVISOR BY PHONE AND FOLLOW UP WITH AN EMAIL DETAILING YOUR CONVERSATION.

Let them know it’s not just a few neighbors who take issue with the events at High Acres.

Here are a few recommended talking points/questions:

  • NYC/Albany garbage is brought in via rail at a rate of 2k tons a DAY. Is your representative in favor of this?

  • Does your representative believe the trash trains and resulting volume of waste does, or does not, have a direct correlation to ongoing odors?

  • Why have odors continued and why are the number of complaints suddenly increasing?

  • Height approval in Macedon will be an eyesore. how can we address this?

  • How is town/NY addressing its trash problem for the future?
