On December 20, 2018, FAFE legal counsel, Knauf Shaw LLP, submitted a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Request to view draft documents for the Host Community Agreement (HCA) with Waste Management’s High Acres landfill. The Perinton Town Board (PTB) continues to state that that the request is “premature”, as Town staff has yet to complete its internal evaluation of its legal counsel’s draft Host Community Agreement.

On the morning of 4/12/18, a local resident went for a run, and encountered what he believes to be strong landfill/H2S odors at the corner of 31F and Wakeman, near the new cell tower. This resident is not a Facebook user, nor a member of the FAFE closed Facebook group.
